Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. They help us provide and improve our services.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

Required for basic site functionality:

  • Session management
  • Theme preferences
  • Language preferences

2.2 Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how visitors use our site:

  • Page views
  • Usage patterns
  • Feature popularity

Some of our measurement tools — Plausible and Ahrefs Analytics — are cookie-free. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, does set cookies.

2.3 Advertising Cookies

We show ads through Journey by Mediavine, which is what keeps the image tools free. Mediavine and its advertising partners, including Google, set cookies to measure ad performance, limit how often you see the same ad, and — where you have allowed it — personalise which ads you see.

3. Cookie Management

You can manage cookie preferences through:

4. Third-Party Cookies

The following third parties may set cookies or read existing ones when you visit:

  • Journey by Mediavine and its advertising partners — advertising. See the Mediavine Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — traffic measurement.

Plausible Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics are cookie-free and do not track you across sites. Sentry, which we use to find out when a tool fails, sets no cookies either. Some features — compression, GIF creation, background removal, and the format conversions a browser cannot do on its own — send your image to our servers for processing, where it is kept only temporarily. Cropping, splitting, flipping and resizing happen entirely in your browser. No advertising or analytics vendor receives your images.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal compliance.
